Ford and Fordson Tractors

April/May 2026
Magazine

The official magazine of the Ford & Fordson Association. Ford & Fordson Tractors magazine covers the early Fordsons to the last of the Fords, and the latest news with New Holland. Each issue of this quality glossy magazine is packed with reader stories, buyers’ guides, news, reports, technical advice and parts for sale. The old Fordson and the Ford that followed were incredibly versatile tractors and were arguably converted by more specialist companies like County, Doe, Roadless and many others. We celebrate all this in our magazine with features on restorations, collections, recollections. Tractor collectors may also find that rare part or tractor for sale in our reader’s free ads.

LUXURY LINE - THE 700 SERIES INTRODUCING THE LUXURY CLASS • The year 1976 was pivotal for the tractor industry as this was when many countries passed legislation that required a quiet cab to be fitted to new tractors that also met safety rollover regulations. Achieving a low noise level at the driver’s ear was not easy and was an expensive process taking many years to develop, with the Ford Q cab being no exception, writes Jonathan Whitlam.

RECORD CROWD AT TRACTOR WORLD • Despite the soft ground conditions and snow on the Malvern hills during the Thursday before the show, the weather turned out dry and unseasonably warm over 21-22 February even though it was still rather wet underfoot. At least the Three Counties Showground has plenty of hard standing including some of its car parks.
